Ellie has always been an avid baker and ice cream enthusiast. In 2021, she decided to combine her two loves and share them with the world. Available at the Nantucket Farmers & Artisans Market and through private event catering, Ellie O's brings a fun and memorable dessert experience to weddings, birthday parties, fundraisers, and celebrations across the island.

What Ellie O's Offers

Homemade ice cream sandwiches from her mobile cart and sprinkle van, found at the Nantucket Farmers Market on Saturday mornings and roaming the island all summer. Available for private events too, birthday parties, weddings, fundraisers, anything that could use a sweet treat.

Style & Flavor

Started as a baker and ice cream enthusiast who combined both passions in 2021. What began as a homemade ice cream sandwich business has grown into a full mobile catering operation, bringing a fun, festive treat to events across the island.

Background & Experience

Grew up outside Boston, visiting her grandmother on Nantucket in summers, and moved to the island full-time in 2020. Comes from a mixed background in food service and nonprofit work, previously with the Nantucket Shellfish Association, planning events like Scallopalooza and Oysterfest. Active in the island community: sits on the board of the Nantucket Racquet Sports Association and is a lifelong Pan-Mass Challenge rider, raising funds for breast cancer research.
