How It Works
The To-Go Market
Step 1 Pick your items from the fridge or freezer.
Step 2 Find the Maker's QR code for your items.
Step 3 Scan the QR code.
Step 4 Select the item(s) you picked from that Maker.
Step 5 Check out and pay on your phone.
Step 6 Repeat these steps for each Maker you purchase from.
How It Works
Picking Up at the Kiosk
Step 1 Place your order online or by phone.
Step 2 When your order is ready, you'll receive a text message with pickup instructions.
Step 3 Enter through The Hive's designated pickup entrance and proceed to the food lockers. On the locker touchscreen, select 'Pickup My Order.' Then either scan the QR code from your text message or enter the pickup code provided.
Step 4 Once your locker door opens, collect your order and close the door behind you. Enjoy!

The Hive is a shared-use commercial kitchen space, conceptualized as a co-working environment for chefs and culinary professionals.
The number of operating culinary makers fluctuates throughout the year, typically ranging from eight to twenty.
The Hive does not operate as a restaurant. It functions as a food business incubator, providing operational space for various culinary businesses. The exterior porch area is utilized for hosting ticketed dinner events, seasonal makers' markets, private celebrations, and educational workshops.
Food orders can be facilitated through The Hive. Certain businesses offer prepared food for pick-up at the facility, while others specialize in offsite catering and personalized menus for special events. We also house businesses that participate in local farmers' markets, our in-house summer markets, and ticketed dinner events.

Our kitchens are commercial-grade spaces designed exclusively for established food businesses. Given the nature of the setup, we do not permit one-day rentals.
The Hive's porch is accessible from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on weekdays and 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturdays, and is closed on Sundays. These hours may be extended for private events. The contactless pick-up locker area remains open until 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Orders must be retrieved within four hours of receiving the text notification that the order is ready; after this period, the order will no longer be available for pick-up.
Refund policies are determined by the individual businesses operating from The Hive. The Hive assumes no responsibility for processing refunds, which are solely governed by the policy of the business with which the order was placed.
Members of the community are welcome to access our public space throughout the week.

The community is permitted to consume pre-packaged, ready-to-eat grab-and-go items on the premises. We also host specific events where food consumption is required to take place within the facility.
The purchase of alcohol is generally not permitted at The Hive. Special exceptions and necessary permitting may be arranged for specific events.
